Over the years, I’ve taught thousands of students — from middle school through college freshmen — in classroom, one-on-one, and online settings. I’ve served as a principal, academic leader, and English instructor, and I bring a calm, reflective, and highly personalized approach to tutoring.
My sessions focus on: strengthening reading comprehension and critical thinking, building confidence and clarity in writing (academic, creative, and analytical), mastering grammar, structure, and style, preparing for SAT/ACT verbal and writing sections, and developing college application essays that reflect a student’s authentic voice.
I believe every student can succeed with the right mix of encouragement, structure, and challenge. My goal is to meet each learner where they are, help them discover their strengths, and guide them toward lasting academic confidence.
Subjects tutored include English, writing, literature, reading, and essay coaching. I work with students in grades 7–12 and college freshmen and am flexible with scheduling.
