My approach to language learning is communicative and task based. I like to bring in authentic texts, videos and interactive activities to teach culture and interpersonal communication skills as well as to check students’ progress and comprehension. I have experience teaching children and adults and aim to keep lessons light, engaging and thorough.
As it relates to proofreading and thesis review, I have completed final working papers for my bachelors, masters and PhD degrees. Furthermore, I publish academic research in my professional career including peer reviewed journal articles and books. Most recently, I co-edited a collection with Routledge. That being said, I have a wealth of experience with writing papers and organizing research projects for high school, and undergraduate and graduate work.
