I pride myself on my ability to communicate in simple terms by breaking down complex problems into simple subparts. I like to go step-by-step and ask questions as necessary to test and reinforce students’ understanding. I pride myself in creating a custom lesson plan tailored for each student. I find it helpful to create a tutoring session starting with a lesson and a recap of the material. We can then dive into specific homework problems or general test prep. I want to help you master these concepts!
In high school I worked at Kumon, where I tutored kids in Math and Reading. I received straight A’s in all math subjects through high school from Algebra I to AP Calculus BC.
I also have taken AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science, and am available to tutor those classes.
I am available to teach both online and in-person in Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, and Brentwood.
