I have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Psychology, as well as a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. I have taught and tutored students in many capacities over the past 20 years (10+ years tutoring and 5+ years teaching). My teaching experience includes undergraduate psychology, neuroscience, neurobiology laboratory, and statistics courses. My tutoring experience includes working with graduate, undergraduate, high school, and elementary students in subjects such as chemistry, biology, physics, pre-algebra, algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, statistics, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus.

I love math and science and enjoy sharing my passion with students. I focus on engaging the student in active participation in learning, inspiring student interest through enthusiastic presentation, using practical examples to bring relevance to material, and creating an environment of diversity and acceptance where students feel comfortable and empowered to participate.
