Hello! My name is Alexys, and I am a 26-year-old Special Education Teacher with two years of experience teaching at an independent study charter school. Prior to my current position, I worked as a substitute teacher at Santa Paula High School, supporting students across multiple grade levels and subject areas.
My educational background includes an Associate's Degree in Psychology, a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from California State University Channel Islands, and a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Southern California (USC). These studies have provided me with a strong foundation in student development, learning strategies, and science education.
As an educator, I believe every student can succeed when instruction is tailored to their unique strengths and needs.
