Educating minds of all ages is one of my passions and the other is design and function. I grew up in the infant stage of technology and quickly understood the importance technology had to offer society. I later enrolled into a Computer Science program at a local community college, where I learned computer languages. I later found an interest in design and attended The Art Institute of California where I was graduated with a Bachelors degree of Science in Interactive Media Design.

I later enrolled into a Computer Science program at a local community college, where I learned computer languages. I later found an interest in design and attended The Art Institute of California where I was graduated with a Bachelors degree of Science in Interactive Media Design.

I find inspiration between two worlds of design and function; therefore closing the gap by creating the infrastructure that puts the two worlds together. Once I refined my skills in web development, I was graduated with a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. This was the final vehicle I needed to show businesses that web development was a necessary practical application for today's competitive market.

I began teaching at a college level in 2007, where I specialized in E-commerce Web Development and Career Planning & Development. In 2008, I began tutoring high school students on web development and practical applications.

I educate my students by helping them define what their goal is in each lesson. This helps each student focus and stay engaged with all learning objectives. I then develop a lesson plan that is fun and easy to understand. I teach each lesson by using a four step approach. I talk about what we will be learning and doing, so that each student knows what to expect. Next, I demonstrate the lesson by using visual aids or step by step instruction for the student to take notes. Then I have the student redo their own example on what was just covered. Finally, I have each student explain everything they just did. This helps me determine the student's mastery level of the lesson.

Video production is one of the most enjoyable skills I know how to do very well. I have shot a lot of weddings and private events. All video will require a program to digitize it and placed into a medium of your choice. For the last 11 years I have used Adobe Premiere Pro for my video editing. I have a thorough understanding of the program and a solid understanding of the output settings. Whether your getting your video ready for DVD production or optimized for web streaming, I have been exposed to professional techniques used in the industry. I can also cover plugin tools, like trapcode or other Red Giant products as well as how to tie in After Effects to each project. I teach the best practices of each tool and batch capturing to effectively save yourself the hours of video digitizing. I also show how to setup your computer to best process the final product by using the video editing settings and maximizing your computers full processing power. Lastly, I teach how to import to DVD authoring programs, such as Adobe Encore.

I have been in the web industry for the last 19 years and love it. I'm an Interactive Web Developer who specializes in design and function. Anyone can create a website these day, but not everyone can design. I have taught web design at a collegiate level and I cover the necessary steps in designing websites that attract traffic. My methods include teaching clients how to use a layout program of their choice and then ultimately bring that design into web production. I teach how to export web graphics from Photoshop and Illustrator, which will make the difference on how well a website loads on the Internet. I spend a lot of time on placement of graphics, navigation, color theme, function, target audience and usability.

My first ever video editing

Really happy with the tutorial. It's my first ever experience with both. Video editing and the tutorial app. I've decided to have a new skill and being able to create short, memorable videos for family and friends.
