I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Psychology and previously graduated from University of California, Irvine as a pre-med student majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Psychological Sciences. I have strong academic backgrounds in biology, chemistry, anatomy, psychology, and algebra through rigorous coursework and hands-on experiences. During undergrad, I worked as a tutor through UCI’s Learning and Academic Resource Center (LARC) for two years and also worked as a Learning Assistant for an anatomy course, helping students strengthen their understanding and study skills.

I currently work as a Behavioral Therapist supporting children with autism and developmental disabilities, which has strengthened my patience, communication, and ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles. I also have experience mentoring students and working in both one-on-one and group learning environments. My tutoring approach focuses on creating a supportive space where students can build confidence, ask questions comfortably, and better understand challenging concepts through clear explanations and real-life examples.

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I graduated from the University of California, Irvine as a pre-med student majoring in Biological Sciences, where I developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills through rigorous STEM coursework. During college, I worked as a tutor through UCI’s Learning and Academic Resource Center (LARC), helping students strengthen study strategies and understand challenging concepts in one-on-one and collaborative settings. I also currently work as a Behavioral Therapist, where I regularly support students with different learning styles and adapt explanations to fit their needs. My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down algebra concepts step-by-step, building confidence, and helping students develop strong foundational math skills.
Anatomy

Anatomy

I graduated from the University of California, Irvine as a pre-med student majoring in Biological Sciences and have extensive coursework experience in human anatomy and physiology. During undergrad, I served as a Learning Assistant for an anatomy course at UCI, where I helped students review anatomical structures, understand complex concepts, and prepare for exams in collaborative learning settings. I also have tutoring experience through UCI’s Learning and Academic Resource Center (LARC), where I supported students in developing effective study strategies for science courses. My teaching style focuses on simplifying difficult material, using visual explanations and real-world examples to help students build both understanding and confidence in anatomy.
Biology

Biology

I graduated from the University of California, Irvine as a pre-med student majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Psychological Sciences. During college, I worked as a tutor through UCI’s Learning and Academic Resource Center (LARC), where I helped students strengthen their understanding of biology concepts and improve study strategies for science courses. I also worked as a Senior Research Assistant in a UCI lab, gaining hands-on experience with research, data collection, and scientific communication in healthcare-related studies. My teaching style focuses on simplifying complex biological concepts, connecting topics to real-life examples, and helping students build confidence in both understanding and applying biology.
Elementary Math

Elementary Math

I have experience working with elementary-aged students through tutoring, mentoring, and my current role as a Behavioral Therapist supporting children in home, school, and community settings. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a strong STEM background and have experience helping students build foundational math skills through patient, step-by-step instruction. I enjoy making math less intimidating by adapting lessons to each child’s learning style and focusing on confidence, problem-solving, and understanding concepts rather than memorization alone. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing stronger math skills.
Psychology

Psychology

I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Psychology and graduated from UC Irvine with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Psychological Sciences. I have experience in psychology research through my work as a Senior Research Assistant at a UCI lab, where I worked on studies involving stress, coping, mental health, and Vietnamese American communities. In addition, I currently work as a Behavioral Therapist supporting children with autism and developmental disabilities, which has strengthened my understanding of behavior, learning, and psychological concepts in real-world settings. My teaching approach focuses on helping students understand theories clearly, connect concepts to everyday life, and feel more confident studying psychology.
Vietnamese

Vietnamese

I am a native Vietnamese speaker with experience tutoring Vietnamese for about one year in both conversational and academic settings. I also worked as a Senior Research Assistant at a UCI lab, where I completed Vietnamese translation, transcription, and participant recruitment for Vietnamese American patients in research studies. In addition, I have volunteered in hospital settings in Vietnam, which strengthened my ability to communicate professionally and compassionately in Vietnamese. I enjoy helping students build confidence in speaking, reading, and understanding Vietnamese while adapting lessons to each student’s goals and learning style.
