I hold a B.S. in Computer Science, Magna Cum Laude, from Chapman University's Fowler School of Engineering, where I graduated from the Honors College as a Presidential Scholar. I am completing my M.S. in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at Chapman this May. My undergraduate coursework included Calculus I and II, Vector Calculus, Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, Physics I and II, and a full sequence of machine learning courses including Bayesian Analysis and Advanced AI. I scored a 700 on the SAT Math section and a 680 on Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, earned a 32 on the ACT Writing and Language test, a 4 on AP English Literature and Composition, and a 3 on AP English Language and Composition.

My tutoring experience began in high school, where I worked one on one with middle schoolers after school building their confidence in math. In college I tutored peers in psychology, where helping students understand the Greek and Latin roots behind terminology made concepts genuinely click rather than disappear after the exam. That experience shaped how I approach every subject. I believe understanding why something works is more powerful than memorizing that it does. In math that means tracing why a rule exists before applying it. In reading and writing it means understanding what an author is actually doing and why it lands.

I am also a working actor with national commercial credits, which means I bring genuine experience in communication, public speaking, and expressive writing to sessions with students who need help not just understanding material but articulating their thinking clearly and confidently. I work exclusively one on one.
