Networking and Cyber Security expert with 25 years of experience

Robert Y.

I am a skilled and patient instructor and tutor gained through 25 years in the industry.
I can tutor many topics from fundamentals to advanced in areas such as networking, cyber security, data center, and Microsoft Email security.
I have taught, tutored and helped prep junior technicians and staff for certification subjects of Wireless, VoIP, Network+, CCNA, CCNP and more.

My first question to someone who wishes to be tutored are, is this to help pass a class, for a certification, general learning desire or for a specific job requirement.
Once I learn why you need tutoring, I can tailor a specific outline of what areas we should cover to help you achieve your learning goals, and allow you to decide what would be helpful to you, as well as what fits into your budget.
My end goal is that you are happy with what you are learning, you feel you are gaining real skills and experience, and are improving in the areas you need to improve on.

I can provide theory training to include white boarding for visual understanding on basic to complex topics.
I can also provide hands on and lab training using tools like Cisco Packet tracer and GNS3 and other Virtual tools.
I always provide time for question and answers, so you can ask the questions on aspects that you may not fully understand.

I have 4 years of military experience in communications and understand a military path as a career choice.
I have an Associates in Microsoft and Cisco systems and networking and held Cisco CCNA, CCNA Voice, CCNP Route and Switch, and CCNP Voice certifications.

Feel free to contact me to see if I may be a good fit to help you with whatever topic you wish to learn, get better at, or become an expert on.
last but not least, yes, my profile pic is my lil pup Ollie, and he assists me with class prep, in the form of wasting my time by getting in my way : )
