I hold a Master’s degree from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and I also obtained a Chinese High School English Teaching Certificate. Growing up in an educator’s family—my father has been a dedicated teacher for decades—I developed a strong passion for teaching early on. As a native Mandarin speaker now living in Los Angeles, I truly enjoy helping students learn Mandarin in a clear, encouraging, and enjoyable way. I always aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel supported and confident.

I have several years of experience teaching both children and adults, including beginners, bilingual families, and students who need structured learning support. In my lessons, I introduce topics in a simple and engaging way, then guide students through practice using real-life communication, pronunciation training, and interactive activities. For younger learners, I incorporate visuals, repetition, and step-by-step instruction to make Mandarin fun and understandable. For adults, I focus on practical communication skills, Pinyin accuracy, and personalized lesson plans that match each student’s goals. Of course, all learning plans can be adjusted based on the student’s level and individual needs.
