I hold a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside, where I focused on management, finance, and operations. I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, which gave me a strong foundation in biology, health, and the sciences. My academic path combined business and science, and I’ve since applied that background through teaching, coaching, and program management.
My teaching experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the college level in both business and biology courses, including Nutrition, Biochemistry, and Organizational Management. In those roles, I led lectures and small-group discussions, developed lesson plans, created learning activities, and graded coursework. I’ve worked with students ranging from first-year undergraduates to advanced students preparing for graduate programs. I emphasize breaking down complex topics into clear, relatable concepts, often using real-world examples and interactive exercises to improve comprehension.
Beyond the classroom, I’ve also coached student-athletes, guided them through academic planning, and provided one-on-one tutoring in subjects such as biology, nutrition, writing, and business fundamentals. These experiences taught me the importance of tailoring instruction to each learner’s background and goals. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, build confidence, and develop practical skills they can apply long after tutoring sessions end.
