I hold a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside, where I focused on management, finance, and operations. I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, which gave me a strong foundation in biology, health, and the sciences. My academic path combined business and science, and I’ve since applied that background through teaching, coaching, and program management.

My teaching experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the college level in both business and biology courses, including Nutrition, Biochemistry, and Organizational Management. In those roles, I led lectures and small-group discussions, developed lesson plans, created learning activities, and graded coursework. I’ve worked with students ranging from first-year undergraduates to advanced students preparing for graduate programs. I emphasize breaking down complex topics into clear, relatable concepts, often using real-world examples and interactive exercises to improve comprehension.

Beyond the classroom, I’ve also coached student-athletes, guided them through academic planning, and provided one-on-one tutoring in subjects such as biology, nutrition, writing, and business fundamentals. These experiences taught me the importance of tailoring instruction to each learner’s background and goals. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, build confidence, and develop practical skills they can apply long after tutoring sessions end.

Business

Business

I hold a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside, where I gained expertise in finance, operations, marketing, and human resources. As a Teaching Assistant for multiple business courses, I guided undergraduates through subjects such as organizational management, business strategy, and quantitative analysis, supporting both classroom instruction and one-on-one learning. I have experience developing course material, case study activities, and assessments that encourage critical thinking and practical application. My approach blends real-world business examples with clear explanations to help students grasp complex concepts and succeed academically and professionally.
Cooking

Cooking

I have hands-on experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, including working as a cook at a vegan café in Sacramento where I prepared plant-based meals in a fast-paced kitchen. In that role, I learned to manage food prep, maintain high standards of food safety, and collaborate with a small team to deliver consistent quality. I also worked at Dutch Bros Coffee and in a brewery, gaining additional experience in customer service and food and beverage operations. These roles taught me how to balance efficiency with creativity and how to adapt quickly to diverse culinary and hospitality environments.
Marketing

Marketing

I gained hands-on experience in marketing through my MBA coursework at UC Riverside, where I worked on projects in brand management, consumer behavior, and data-driven strategy. I have led class activities analyzing real companies and rewriting marketing strategies to strengthen positioning and audience engagement. My approach focuses on connecting theory to practice—using case studies, current market examples, and interactive discussions to make marketing concepts tangible. I enjoy helping students learn how to apply marketing fundamentals in ways that improve both academic performance and real-world decision-making.
Nutrition

Nutrition

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and have taught university-level courses in biochemistry and nutrition, including developing curriculum for UCR’s BCH 010 Nutrition course. This involved designing lectures, activities, and assessments that made complex material like metabolism, diet planning, and nutrient balance more approachable and practical for students. I have worked with diverse student groups, from freshmen to advanced learners, and I adapt my teaching style to each student’s background and goals. My experience in curriculum design and teaching ensures that I can provide structured, clear, and engaging instruction that supports both academic achievement and everyday health applications.
Track & Field

Track & Field

I have competed at the NCAA Division I and junior college levels in track and cross country, specializing in the 1500m and steeplechase. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Coach at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, where I also coordinate recruiting, operations, and athlete development. My coaching philosophy emphasizes individual growth, discipline, and balancing training with academic commitments. I enjoy mentoring athletes at all levels, from new runners to competitive collegiate athletes, and tailoring training plans to fit their unique goals.
