Hello :)
Nice to meet you, I am Jennica, a senior at UC Berkeley in my final semester, majoring in Statistics with an emphasis in Mathematics. I’ve always enjoyed math and problem solving, and I’ve been tutoring math since middle school. I'm a strong believer that most people who claim to dislike math, don't actualy feel that way, they just don't like not understanding it, which is completely understandable, and also completely changeable!

Along with my Berkeley coursework in statistics, probability, and higher level math, I also completed the Seoul National University Big Data, Fintech, and AI Advanced Professional Program, where I studied machine learning, AI math, algorithmic trading, databases, and other quantitative topics. Since 2nd grade, I was part of the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) program and took advanced courses including competition mathematics and coding olympiad.
In high school, I earned 5s on AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, and AP Statistics. I also worked as a lead instructor at Mathnasium in Diamond Bar, where I taught students across many grade levels and helped support the training and setup of instructors at a newly opened location. That experience gave me a lot of practice explaining math in different ways depending on how each student learns best.
I am comfortable and confident teaching all levels and topics of mathematics including, but not limited to: elementary math, algebra I & II, geometry & trigonometry, pre-calculus, AP calculus AB/BC, college calculus, linear algebra, discrete math, probability & statistics, modeling, machine learning, AI math, actuarial math (exam P)
