I’m eager to work with you. I hold a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington, along with a master’s degree in Data Analytics. I bring over six years of tutoring experience, mainly working with high school and college students in data analysis and engineering, including instructional roles at the University of Washington. I have taught undergraduate computer science courses as well as high school–level AP Computer Science A and AP Computer Science Principles.
I offer support across a wide variety of subjects, including introductory programming and computer science, Python, Java, C, C++, databases and SQL, JavaScript, assembly languages (MIPS, x86, MASM, and others), Terraform, CSS, HTML, and theory-based courses such as theory of computation, operating systems, data structures, algorithms, data science, machine learning, and mathematics.
I excel at debugging code and guiding students through projects and assignments, while providing clear, well-organized explanations that strengthen understanding and improve exam results. Although I have classroom teaching experience, I prefer one-on-one sessions where instruction can be fully customized to a student’s objectives and learning preferences.
My teaching style emphasizes guided learning and independence. I aim to help students develop a deep understanding of concepts, sharpen critical thinking, and apply structured problem-solving strategies. My goal is for students to leave each session confident, capable, and ready to handle future challenges on their own. I’d be happy to help. Feel free to reach out with questions or book a session, and let’s turn your goals into real skills.
