My journey in education began as a Graduate Assistant tutoring college engineering courses like Physics, Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Calculus. This experience was foundational, showing me how to bridge the gap between abstract mathematical theory and its tangible, real-world applications. After this, I became a high school math teacher, and I have served in this occupation for more than 10 years. Currently, I work as a full-time Algebra 2 teacher in Oakland. My extensive background in both engineering and education allows me to provide comprehensive and practical instruction. I hold a master’s degree in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture and have demonstrated my high level of quantitative proficiency through excellent scores on the GRE and the recent CSET mathematics examinations. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working with a wide range of students, from 12-year-old middle schoolers to college-level learners, helping them all achieve their academic goals.
