I hold advanced degrees in both mathematics and statistics, which have equipped me with a deep understanding of a wide range of mathematical concepts. My academic background allows me to support students in everything from foundational skills to more complex topics. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach and tutor students in subjects such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, discrete math, and introductory statistics, and I continue to enjoy helping students develop confidence in these areas.
My teaching experience spans a wide range of levels and settings. I have taught both remedial and advanced math courses in classroom environments, as well as through one-on-one tutoring sessions. My students have ranged from elementary and middle school learners to high schoolers and adult learners returning to school. I’ve also worked with students preparing for standardized tests or needing extra support with homework or class material. In every situation, I adapt my approach to meet the student’s individual needs.
My teaching style is patient, caring, and strategic. I strive to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I’m intuitive in identifying learning gaps and work closely with students to find methods that make concepts “click” for them. Whether a student needs to build foundational skills or refine their problem-solving abilities, I meet them where they are and help them move forward with clarity and confidence.
