Because of the nature of the core curriculum, I have taken classes and mastered proficiency in Physical and Biological Sciences, Humanities with a concentration in Media theory and studies, Social Sciences, college level Calculus, Art History and Visual Arts.
I have previously worked primarily with elementary students one on one, third through fifth grade, on creative identity based writing. Additionally, because I grew up with a sister four years younger, I have had plenty of practice tutoring in all subjects, and learning how to help students learn without simply giving an answer. I hope to provide supportive, engaging, and fun services, that cut out the stress and emotional frustration that can come from feeling “behind” in school.
