Daniel is a performer and recording artist situated in the Bay Area (California). He has sung with the San Francisco Symphony, Cappella SF, Bang on a Can All Stars, Frank LaRocca, and Eric Whitacre, as well as recorded with Mason Bates (Mass Transmission) and Christopher Tin (for the Civilization VI soundtrack). He has a Master's in Vocal performance from CSUEB, as well as a Bachelor's of Music (Vocal Performance) from WIU. He has taught middle school students, high school students, and undergraduate students in private settings of all voice types (including a transition Male to Female student) in a private voice studio, and undergraduate through graduate students in academic ensembles. He particularly enjoys working on text interpretation and phoneme work with his students, helping them reach a personal, but historically informed, understanding of how to perform their music.
