I have always pursued learning with a great passion, and truly enjoy sharing this curiosity for knowledge with others! I believe that learning is a journey that everyone can take part in and have found that as students begin to truly understand material, they almost always find a thirst for more. Since a very young age, I had always enjoyed math and always tried to learn as much as much as possible. From high school onward, I have tutored math students of all ages. I understand that math can be a deterring subject for many people, which is why I try to make it as approachable as possible. I've found that the fear of math is often the largest obstacle, and that when taken at a comfortable pace, anyone can be a "math person"!
As a 3rd year biochemistry major at the University of California Riverside, I have quite a bit of experience in science and biology. I have completed honors coursework, internships, and currently aid in research at a biological sciences laboratory on campus. Biology (particularly genetics) is where my heart is, and I enjoy sharing this passion with students.
To make sure students are in a comfortable learning environment, I make sure to be available wherever the student finds easiest. Whether it is a library, coffee shop, home, school, or even online, just let me know.
I look forward to seeing you and helping you down the the road of learning!
