I’m Nenji! As an educator for over 12 years, I’ve had many roles: K-5 classroom teacher, math and literacy coach and K-8 principal. In every role, teaching has been my favorite part –whether it be kindergarten reading, 6th grade math, or adult learning. I have a Master’s in Education from the University of Southern California (USC). As a classroom teacher, I was nominated teacher of the year. Parents frequently requested for their children to be placed in my class. My classroom achievements led me to be recruited to coach and teach teachers and then run a school.

In my teaching, I center joy and personalization. I introduce the lesson in an engaging way and adjust the content and practice to meet students’ needs. I ask questions to get to know my students and understand how they best learn. I am highly skilled in working with students with different learning needs. I build on students’ strengths to help them reach their tutoring goals.
