Bio

I am an Actress, Writer, and Acting Coach who has edited four Humor books and taught Improv Comedy and straight Acting to people of all ages. I also Substitute Teach. My upbeat, energetic nature enables me to engage a student’s interest in the course of a lesson. My years of experience as a writer and editor have given me an innate ability to help students of all ages create their best possible written work. I am an Actress, Writer, and Acting Coach who has edited four Humor books and taught Improv Comedy and straight Acting to people of all ages. I also Substitute Teach. My upbeat, energetic nature enables me to engage a student’s interest in the course of a lesson. My years of experience as a writer and editor have given me an innate ability to help students of all ages create their best possible written work. And my years as an Acting Coach allow me to help students cultivate their public speaking abilities.

I have a BA in Theater, an extensive background in Improv Comedy (including my Second City training), years of on-camera and stage work, and a long history in Coaching Acting. This base of experience gives me the ability to draw out the best in any prospective performer and gear my lessons to their current abilities.

I am an Acting Coach for all ages and the skill-set for Acting translates exactly to the skill set for Public Speaking. Additionally, the warm-up exercises one employs as an Actor will help Public Speaking students to achieve a level of comfort and relaxation that will prove to be highly beneficial.

I am also a voracious recreational reader, so I appreciate the important role that good reading plays in the life of every man, woman, and child.
