I hold a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology and currently work as a chemist in a highly regulated healthcare setting, where I apply advanced analytical techniques and scientific reasoning daily. In addition to my academic background, I am a dental student, which reflects my continued commitment to rigorous science education and patient focused learning. My professional experience includes method development, data analysis, and technical writing for reports, publications, and patents, all of which strengthen my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and accurately.
I have over 8 years of tutoring experience across subjects including general chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, and writing, as well as Common Core math and science for younger students. I have worked with a wide range of learners from elementary school through college level, providing one on one tutoring, academic support, and exam preparation, including DAT preparation. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down difficult material into simple, structured steps while adapting to each student’s learning style. I emphasize problem solving, critical thinking, and confidence building to help students achieve consistent academic improvement.
In addition to formal tutoring, I have extensive experience supporting others through mentorship and volunteer work, including serving as an Arabic translator for individuals navigating real world situations. I also have specialized experience in writing support, including essay, thesis, and personal statement coaching. I successfully wrote a compelling personal statement that led to multiple dental school interviews and acceptances after being out of school for 10 years, which allows me to guide students in crafting strong, authentic narratives. My goal is to provide clear, supportive, and results driven instruction that helps students succeed academically and beyond.
