Currently, I am a contracted classroom teacher with the Los Angeles Unified School District specializing in Secondary Biological Sciences. This extensive background allows me to provide high-quality instruction in Spanish, general sciences, and foundational mathematics while staying fully aligned with school district standards.
Throughout my decade of teaching, I have worked across the entire K-12 spectrum and have also provided academic advisement for advanced environmental projects at the university level. This diverse experience has taught me how to adapt my communication style to fit any age group, from young children to young adults. In my sessions, I replace rigid memorization with cutting-edge Project-Based Learning (PBL) and visual learning strategies. By connecting difficult science concepts and math problems to real-world examples, I make abstract topics easy to understand, helping students overcome academic anxiety and develop genuine interest.
