I started playing piano when I was 5 years old, then took up drums aged 11. I've got a strong background in music theory, as well as a lot of performing and recording experience. After studying for 4 years at Berklee College of Music, and playing countless gigs and sessions, I feel well equipped to pass on what I've learnt to whoever wants to learn.
I've had a formal music education for most of my life, covering drums, piano, and general music theory. I've studied a wide range of styles, from Rock and Pop, to Jazz, R&B and soul - with some of the best players and teachers in the world!
After a lot of trial and error - I've found ways of practicing and teaching that get great results. I'm always excited at the opportunity to inspire and encourage musicians to refine their playing, or equally to start from scratch - at any age! Every student is different, and I always work to make sure our lessons are tailored to fit exactly what they want to learn.
