I am Tiana! I graduated from the University of Delaware. I have a Bachelor of Science degree with a major of biological sciences with a concentration of cellular and molecular biology and genetics. Over the course of my college career, I made the Dean's List for several semesters for excellence. I have always loved mathematics, working in lab settings, and human biology and physiology with a passion. My favorite subjects were advanced mammalian physiology (emphasis on human physiology), calculus, cell biology, molecular biology of the cell, and general chemistry. I also came to love statistics after struggling with it for much of my life. For years, every time I mastered a mathematical or biological concept, I wondered what it was like teaching it to others who need help with it. I always imagine myself doing so.
As an online tutor, I wish to help students to enjoy concepts that they are struggling with and make the learning experience very pleasant and engaging. I specialize in tutoring mathematics from algebra I up to calculus AB, cellular and molecular biology, general chemistry and mammalian physiology.
