My name is Erica, and I’m an experienced and certified English tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for supporting students of all ages on their learning journey.I hold a Master’s degree in English and Creative Writing, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Studies, which have provided me with a deep understanding of communication, storytelling, and written expression. I am also TEFL/TESOL certified with a 120-hour International Certificate, equipping me with the tools and knowledge to effectively teach English to non-native speakers in a structured and supportive way.
My teaching experience includes one-on-one tutoring with adults and teens, as well as informal support for peers and younger students in academic writing, creative expression, grammar, and conversation skills. While I’ve worked primarily in virtual and individualized settings, I bring the same level of dedication and care you’d find in a classroom. I tailor each session to fit the unique needs of the learner—whether that means building fluency through conversation, working through grammar challenges, improving reading comprehension, or guiding someone in writing essays or stories.
