Hi, my name is Taylor! I graduated summa cum laude from the Berklee College of Music with a B.A. in Professional Music, with concentrations in music production and songwriting. There I studied guitar with John Mayer's guitar teacher Tomo Fujita and Grammy award winning jazz guitarist Nir Felder. In addition, I took several audio engineering courses with Latin Grammy award winning recording engineer Enrique Gonzalez Müller. I also studied songwriting with renown songwriters Pat Patterson, Jimmy Kachulis, and Scarlet keys. These teachers forever shaped my musical journey, and I would love to work with you and pass along anything I can from my experiences.

I have multiple years of experience tutoring students in music theory at Lane Community College. From music fundamentals to tonal and jazz harmony. I worked with students of all ages and skill levels. I have played professionally in house bands, done session work in studios, and been a member of several bands. I have worked in award winning music studios such as The Bridge Sound and Stage and Dave's Room, founded by Grammy Award winning engineer Dave Bianca and run by Grammy Award nominated Engineer Paul Fig.

Learning can be an overwhelming task. With so much information out there nowadays, it can be hard to know where to start or where to go next. It is my goal to meet every student where they are and develop the best learning approach for them. This involves discovering my students' goals, which approaches to learning best suit them, and developing a plan to measure their progress and adjust when needed to fit each student over time. I strive to create a patient, encouraging, and compassionate environment for every student. Music is a skill and it takes time. I want to make that time spent as rewarding and enjoyable as possible.

If you have any questions, or want to schedule a lesson, feel free to reach out! I try to respond as soon as possible and would love to help any way I can.
