ACT Math

I have 19 years of experience teaching and tutoring high school mathematics, with extensive experience helping students prepare for the ACT. I know how to analyze PSAT scores to identify students’ areas of strength and areas that need improvement. Based on this analysis, I develop a personalized plan to address their specific needs and help them build the skills and confidence necessary to excel. I also challenge my students with a variety of problems that require critical thinking and problem-solving rather than simply applying a straightforward formula or procedure. My goal is to help students develop a deeper understanding of mathematics and become confident, independent problem-solvers.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor.

Ms. Jane covered all the topics on the PSAT math portion in just one hour and showed me the processes behind every math skill. Additionally, she demonstrated all of the tricks on Desmos to retrieve the answers easily.

Excellent and Clear Tutoring

Jane did a fantastic job helping me out with Algebra 2. She made things very clear and simple, breaking down complicated concepts into simple ones. Couldn't be happier with the work she did and I'll be scheduling more lessons with her for sure!
