Educational Background

I have a Juris Doctor from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Art in English with an emphasis in Rhetoric and Business Communication from the University of Illinois. As member of both the Legal Writing Institute and AASE: American Association of Academic Support Educators, I maintain awareness of the latest developments in writing instruction methods. I am an active member of the California State Bar. I have passed both California and Utah Bar along with the MPRE.

Tutoring Experience, Methods, and Approaches

I am a co-author of an Amazon best-seller about bar exam essay writing. I have tutored students for every California bar exam administered since February 2023. Each bar exam student-client receives a customized study plan created by me and subject specific approaches for the essays, the Performance Test, and the MBE. July 2025 will be my sixth (6th) bar exam for which I have prepared bar exam applicants for. These students include graduates of overseas law schools in India, Armenia, as well as graduates of unaccredited law schools. I take a student-centered, subject-mastery approach to bar exam tutoring.

Contextual Details

I have tutored students in multiple ways: in person, via telephone, Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, and Zoom. I do whatever it takes to meet the needs of my students and clients. I meet the bar exam student applicant wherever he or she is and take them to the pass line. The ages of my student clients range from 23 to 50. I have had success with repeater applicants and test takers who need a patient, calm, and and understanding tutor. My passion for tutoring is informed by my experience as a student advocate who practices Education Law. Student clients see me as a tutor, mentor, coach, friend, and future colleague.
