Hi! My name is Omid. I got my Bachelor's degree in television and film from St. John's University and a Master's Degree in screenwriting from UCLA. During my time at UCLA I was a teacher's assistant for an introductory screenwriting class where I helped teach over 200 students the keys to proper structure, formatting, themes, and character development for their own scripts. Since then I've won numerous screenwriting competitions, sold a feature film script and had a television pilot optioned. I've also done several rewrite jobs and just finished a job adapting a short story into a sci-fi podcast.
My goal is to not only teach how to write a script, but how to make sure you are having fun while you do. I specialize in television and film writing but also have experience teaching students how to write statements of purpose, college entrance essays, short stories, and narrative podcasts. Furthermore, once I have helped you write a script, I will guide you on the process of selling or pitching that story.
I am easy to reach and I always try to respond as quickly as possible. Feel free to contact me at any time if you have any additional questions. Have a nice day!
