Hello, I'm Brittany! I am an opera singer and writer who is enthusiastic about sharing my love for writing, the arts, and history. I will graduate with my Master's degree in Music (Vocal Performance) from Indiana University in May 2025, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Music (Applied Voice) and minors in Music Composition and Marketing from Pepperdine University in April 2023. I am an artist, but always loved my academic classes. I loved professors who were engaging and enthusiastic in their teaching, and deeply passionate about their subjects. In my tutoring sessions, I will strive to create a friendly environment for my students and tailor the sessions to each student's needs. I will start with a lesson plan, and then focus the material based on what the student needs to work on. We will have practice time to ensure that the student feels comfortable working with the material on their own and can create a project they feel confident on.

I am a professional opera singer by trade, but I am also a writer. I have written a historical fiction novel that I am currently trying to get published, and am in the process of writing another novel. I have extensive experience in editing--from fiction novels, to memoirs, to college essays, to academic papers in subjects such as law, business, music, and literature. Additionally, I have worked in college admissions for six years, so I have extensive experience in the application, admissions, and financial aid process. I am excited to share my knowledge and passion for my favorite subjects with my students.

I strive to improve with each student, so I am always open to feedback. I am fast to respond, and extremely organized. I can't wait to start working together!
