Hello, I am Dr. Niree and I am currently a college professor in economics at several prestigious institutions. I graduated with honors from UCLA in 2010 and went on to receive my Master’s and PhD from USC in economics.
When I was a high school student in 2004, one of my classmate’s parents hired me to tutor her in algebra 2. She was struggling to pass the class, which I was also enrolled in, and began helping her on a weekly basis. I realized then how much I love helping others succeed and haven’t stopped tutoring and teaching since!
During my time as an undergraduate, I was a part of the Teacher Preparation Program and completed several teaching internships. I worked with students from elementary school all the way to high school as an intern, and became certain that I love teaching and tutoring students irrespective of age. As a graduate student at USC, I received the award for the “Best TA” in the Economics Department. Since then, I’ve taught at community colleges, liberal arts colleges, four-year state universities as well as private universities, at the undergraduate and graduate levels, in-person and online.
I have years of math tutoring experience. I’ve tutored students for the GRE before with success and I am highly qualified to teach ACT Math.
I have experience tutoring in quantitative test prep subjects including ACT Science.
I am easy to reach and quick to reply to messages. Feel free to contact me with questions or to schedule your next lesson!
