Meera earned her Bachelors degree in Political Science from University of California, Irvine and her Masters in Business Administration from the American University, Kogod School of Business, Washington DC. At present, Meera’s client includes the Hollywood Homeless Youth Partnership where she provides policy/advocacy, grant writing, communications, and community engagement services. Prior to working with HHYP, Meera worked in Government Relations with the MWW Group, studied speechwriting with former Vice Presidential Speechwriters, and worked as a Political Organizer for the ACLU of Southern California. As an experienced Public Speaking Professional and Speechwriter, Meera works with individuals to craft stellar speeches and presentations and prepare them to deliver memorable and entertaining performances. While in business school, she studied speechwriting with former Vice Presidential speechwriters and was awarded the role of graduation speaker for the MBA class. While in Business School, Meera took Business Communications and Writing for Business and can help students needing assistance with those classes.

Career Development

As a Career Development Coach, I can help you ace your job interview by reviewing common interview questions, preparing questions for the interviewer, rehearsing your elevator speech, adjusting your body language, and going over what to study about the company. We will also review your resume and make appropriate edits to it and prepare your responses through mock interview style questions to ensure a high quality presentation. I have experience creating Job/Career and Educational Resource Fairs and moderating Career Skills Building Workshops for homeless youth agencies with employers like Target, Starbucks, H&M, Gap, UPS, W & Hollywood Roosevelt Hotels. In addition, I regularly work with community groups and worksource centers to make presentations on topics like "what to know for an interview", "customer service skills and professional communication in the workplace", and "how to improve your public speaking.
