Professionally, I have worked with some of the industry's best (and yes, you would know who they are). These experiences afford me the opportunity to share & continue my music legacy through those desiring to make their own mark in music. Beyond the studio, I taught Record Production at Chicago's Columbia College, an international leader and recognized pioneer in arts and media education. From there, I went on to introduce the same course as well as a Music Business course at Triton College. The course remains there to this day and many of my students continue to stay in touch and have gone on to establish successful, solid careers in the business. Beyond the institutionalized classroom, I started Beat Creators, an after-school not-for-profit music educational program that was started to keep music in schools & help offset budget cuts. Beat Creators dissolved prior to relocating to Los Angeles.
As I continue to make strides through writing & production, my unofficial mission is to help others by providing coach-like mentorship, and sharing the knowledge, wisdom and resources I've collected over the years. My experience runs the gamut of working with all types, from beginners to legends, groups to solo artists. As a Chicago native, I am honored to come from a rich legacy of extraordinary talent, and will always continue this legacy by connecting with my clients in a way that brings the best out of them musically, thereby continuing to bring timeless music to the world, one note at a time.
