Robert is a free-lance musician, who plays Bass Trombone in the Dana Point Symphony Orchestra, Corona Symphony Orchestra and the Orange County Collegiate Orchestra. Since college, Robert has played in a rock band as well as in a trombone quartet. Robert is also the manager of a big band jazz band.
While in college, Robert had the honor of being in the 2009 CSU All-State Honor Jazz Band and during that summer he was invited to play in the Disneyland All-American College Band. The final year of Robert's college life ended with a trip to Portugal to play in and around the capital city of Lisbon with the Wind Ensemble.
After college, Robert was hired as a sideline trombonist for the Warner Bros movie, "Gangster Squad." After that Robert joined the Shen Yun performing arts and traveled around the Pacific Rim to Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand. After the four month tour, Robert joined the staff of the Chance Theater in Anaheim to play "West Side Story."
Robert has been teaching trombone and tuba for many years now and has taught ages from 7 years of age to 50 years.
It's never too late to learn anything.
