I have more than twenty years of professional experience as an actor, acting coach, writer, director, and educator working in television, film, and performing arts instruction. I earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Choral Education from Brigham Young University, where I was trained in both performance and teaching methods. In addition to my formal education, I have continued to study acting, voice, improvisation, and storytelling throughout my professional career while working in the entertainment industry.
For the past two decades, I have taught students of many different ages and experience levels in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I have worked as a private acting coach, an acting teacher at Talent House Academy, and co-founded a training program for young professional actors in Los Angeles. I have coached actors for auditions, self-tapes, scene study, improvisation, and on-camera acting. My students have gone on to book roles in television, film, and theater productions. I have also worked professionally as an on-set dialogue coach for productions with Nickelodeon, Disney, and Amazon, helping young actors develop performances and communicate effectively with directors and writers.
In addition to acting instruction, I tutor creative writing, English-related subjects, storytelling, public speaking, and conversational Spanish. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoy helping students build confidence in communication and self-expression. My teaching approach focuses on meeting students where they are, creating an encouraging learning environment, and helping each student develop practical skills through clear feedback, individualized instruction, and consistent practice.
