I have formal tutoring experience as Kumon Instructor for kids k-12 in math. I also participated in high school tutoring clubs, where I helped peers (ages 14-18) with both biology and math. In these settings, I learned how to explain concepts in simple, understandable ways, guide students through practice problems, and encourage active learning. These experiences taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
I enjoy tailoring my approach to each student’s needs and learning style, whether that means reviewing foundational skills or diving into more advanced topics.
