Abby, 3 lessons with LutherLuther exceeded my expectations for a tutor. His knowledge rivals that of my professor, and he was very patient in explaining complex concepts to me. He came into the session fully prepared with a page full of notes, which was more than I had. He continuously asked if I was understanding the information, and didn’t mind repeating himself if I wasn’t able to fully grasp the idea. I HIGHLY recommend contacting him if you need any help with work relating to Political Science. The next time I...

In tutoring, I find that talking over readings typically clears the confusion that a student may experience. As a published researcher, I have edited numerous student essays to great success, and I would consider that to be my personal strong suit, having had...

Great teacher
Huge help! Great conversationalist. Breaks down concepts into extremely easy-to-understand basics. Definitely recommend him to anyone Who is looking for tutoring in international relations or world politics.

With online tutors, there’s no need to meet for a specific amount of time. It would be helpful when the studen has a question that will take just a few minutes to address, to have a quick chat with an online tutor and get a helpful answer!
Sheida, 1 lesson with LutherTutor responded:Its incumbent on the student to make clear that they only have a brief question rather than require a full, long meeting, particularly when the prior session took 2.5 hours covering a quiz, which was different than the one you had me prepare to tutor on. You never said this was the case and only asked when I would meet with you; I cannot read your mind. It is also the student's responsibility to communicate if they will be unable to attend a previously agreed upon time. As you know, for many tutors like myself, this is a second job, and so we are not available to be subject to the scheduling whims of students who do not keep their appointments. So I think your review of me is more of a projection of yourself and your poor communication rather than a reflection of my tutoring.
