For my Biology degree, I specialized in Cellular and Molecular Biology. For Ancient Studies, my focus was in the ancient Mediterranean. I also have a Master's in Biological Anthropology, with a specialization in ancient genetics. In graduate school, my favorite classes were Bioarchaeology, Ancient Diseases, and Human Disease Evolution.

I have more than four years experience total teaching high school and undergraduate students. I was a teaching assistant for the 200 level course General and Molecular Biology while I was in college. Later, I taught English and Science at the high school level in Japan for two years. Most recently, I taught Introduction to Anthropology: Human Evolution to undergraduate students for two years, during which I covered Anthropological, Archaeological, and Evolutionary concepts as well as teaching basic Human Osteology and important hominin (ancient human ancestor) fossils.

Anthropology

Anthropology

I recently graduated with a Master's in Biological Anthropology. I also taught the laboratory section of the undergraduate course Introduction to Anthropology: Human Evolution for two years. This included giving short lectures to students before each class period, and helping them with course content and laboratory questions.
Archaeology

Archaeology

I learned the basics of Archaeology as an undergraduate student. I took Intro to Anthropology, which included Archaeological concepts. I also attended two Archaeological Field Schools. I then taught Introduction to Anthropology: Human Evolution for two years, during which I taught the basics of Archaeology to undergraduate students.
Genetics

Genetics

For my bachelor's in Biology, I had a focus in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Additionally, while pursuing my Master's in Biological Anthropology, I specialized in ancient genetics. I have both experience researching and understanding genetics as well as performing complex molecular biology protocols in the lab.
