I'm Kenna! I love Biology and Anthropology, and have a background in both! My favorite topics are evolution, genetics, disease, and the history of Anthropology as a discipline.

I have bachelor's degrees in both Biology and Ancient Studies. For my Biology degree, I specialized in Cellular and Molecular Biology. I also have a Master's in Biological Anthropology, with a specialization in ancient genetics. In graduate school, my favorite classes were Bioarchaeology, Ancient Diseases, and Human Disease Evolution.

I have more than four years experience total teaching high school and undergraduate students. I was a teaching assistant for the 200 level course General and Molecular Biology while I was in college. Later, I taught English and Science at the high school level in Japan for two years. Most recently, I taught Introduction to Anthropology: Human Evolution to undergraduate students for two years, during which I covered Anthropological, Archaeological, and Evolutionary concepts as well as teaching basic Human Osteology and important hominin (ancient human ancestor) fossils.

Every student has different needs and every class has its own information the teacher/professor wants you to understand. To get the most out of our session, please send me details about the specific topics you are covering in class or what you are looking for extra clarification on. I am usually open for at least a few hours each weekend, so feel free to message me asking about specific times!
