I tutor English and creative writing. I have my Bachelor’s degree from Hollins University where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I specialize in novel writing, Shakespeare, and MLA style papers, but I can help you in whatever area you need most. I’ve tutored for Hollins University’s writing center and as a private tutor.
French: I speak C1 French and studied at the Institute of Touraine. I can help you improve your listening skills and speaking. But best of all, since I learned a lot of French by studying, I can give you study tips and resources that will aid you at any level.
Psychology: I specialize in crisis work, depression, bipolar, and anxiety. I worked as a peer specialist for several years with a variety of organizations such as DBSA, AMIH, and Turning Point, and can help you get an idea for the field and what might be helpful to study.
About me:
I am a warm person, with a love of learning, and will try and break things down and make them easy to understand and enjoyable. I truly believe in my students and I'm happy to be with you every step of the way as you do the amazing thing of learning something new. :) Think of me as the girl in class who’s got the best notes and totally is happy to share them with you, so you can excel like the rock star you know you are. :)
