Hi, I’m Nora! I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, and I’ve been fortunate to gain several years of experience tutoring students in math, science, and various technical subjects. I’ve worked as a swim instructor, teaching students of all ages how to swim, while also tutoring high school students in subjects like algebra and calculus. As a mentor in a college program for underclassmen in my major, I’ve guided peers through coursework and other activities, helping them better understand challenging concepts and develop academic skills that will aid them in future classes.
When tutoring, I focus on making complex subjects more approachable by breaking them down into smaller, more manageable parts. I find that students often benefit from assisted practice to reinforce their understanding, so I encourage lots of hands-on problem-solving.
