Bio

I am a native Japanese speaker with a teaching license in Japan. I have been living in the US since 2003. I have experience teaching students of various ages in both countries.

Currently, I am teaching Japanese at one of the UC schools during the summer of 2024. I also teach Japanese to employee at a famous Japanese gaming company.

I was a full time middle and high school teacher in Solana Beach for 10 years. I taught Math, Japanese, Yoga and wellness classes there.

I began practicing yoga in 2003. After trying several styles, I fell in love with Vinyasa Power Yoga at the Baptiste Studio in Cambridge, MA. Since then, yoga has been a major part of my life. I completed two week-long training camps with Baron Baptiste in Hawaii in 2007 and in Montana in 2008. For three years, I have been teaching small group classes and private students. I am comfortable working with yoga students of all levels. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner, I would be happy to work with you.
