I was born and raised in Italy, where I developed a lifelong love of language and culture. As a native Italian speaker, I am able to offer authentic instruction that goes beyond vocabulary and grammar by weaving in the expressions, traditions, and nuances that make the language come alive. I enjoy working with students of all ages and skill levels, whether they are learning Italian for travel, school, business, or personal enrichment. My approach is patient, conversational, and tailored to each student’s goals, helping them build confidence and fluency in a natural and engaging way.

In addition to tutoring Italian, I am a certified yoga instructor with more than 20 years of teaching experience. I earned a 4-year Hatha Yoga Diploma from Federazione Mediterranea Yoga in Sicily, Italy, and hold additional certifications, including a 200-hour Registered Yoga Certification and specialized training in yoga for kids and families. Over the years, I have taught yoga in a wide range of settings—from university classrooms and fitness studios to rehabilitation centers and military bases—working with children, young adults, and older adults alike. My classes emphasize mindfulness, proper alignment, and emotional resilience, while adapting to the needs and abilities of each individual.

My teaching style in both Italian and yoga is encouraging, adaptable, and rooted in building a supportive environment where students can thrive. I believe learning should be a balance of discipline and enjoyment, whether you are practicing a new language or developing strength and calm through yoga. With a background in health, wellness, and education, I bring not only technical expertise but also genuine care for my students’ growth, helping them succeed with clarity, confidence, and consistency.
