Hi, I’m Mary, and I specialize in helping children from preschool through sixth grade build both skills and confidence in their learning. I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Leadership and Management with a concentration in Human Resources, and I have several years of experience developing curriculum and working directly with children in both tutoring and homeschool settings. This background has given me a strong foundation in creating lessons that are structured, engaging, and tailored to each child’s needs.
I’ve worked with students as young as three to support early literacy, fine motor skills, and kindergarten readiness, and I’ve helped elementary students strengthen reading comprehension, writing, and math. My approach is individualized: I start by meeting students where they are, then build lessons that blend instruction with interactive activities. Parents often tell me their children leave sessions feeling more confident, which is always my goal.
Over the years, I’ve guided students in one-on-one tutoring, small groups, and home learning environments. What sets me apart is the balance I bring: my sessions are structured and aligned with academic goals, but they also feel warm and encouraging. I believe children learn best when they feel safe to make mistakes and proud of their progress, and I carry that belief into every lesson.
