Learning Korean with this teacher feels less like studying and more like learning with a friend. Panjin explains not just what Koreans say, but why they say it that way. I appreciate her knowledge of tricky grammar points to the cultural nuances found in the culture. She is also really good at personalizing the lesson for my needs and we have gone through terms I can use everyday such as giving directions, what to say at a bank, and medical words for a doctor visit. I’m so thankful because I now have more confidence when reading in Korean and enjoy every lesson with Panjin who is always so patient and kind. I wish I found her earlier but feel super lucky to have found someone this amazing :) I highly recommend Panjin for anyone who wants to learn with a top notch teacher at your own pace!

I’ve only had one lesson so far, but Panjin is a great tutor for many reasons. She is very detailed about pronunciation and other rules and is willing to build course material around your interests. Her session is organized by a syllabus that is easy to follow and she gives detailed homework assignments that help you feel supported in your learning journey outside of class.
