I am an MIT graduate in Computer Science and Math. During my time at university, I took roles as a grader, tutor, and TA for many of my courses. Nice to meet you, my name is Cody.

I am an MIT graduate in Computer Science and Math. During my time at university, I took roles as a grader, tutor, and TA for many of my courses. I enjoyed helping others work through their problems and accomplish their goals. These experiences later motivated me to work within the education technology industry.

Since my graduation, I have worked as a full stack software engineer for 3 years at Johnson and Johnson, IXL Learning, and Meta (also known as Facebook). My primary backend language is Java and my primary frontend languages are HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I can teach Java, Python, AP Computer Science, and software development. I also have 3 years of tutoring experience in Math - this includes Algebra, Pre-Calc, and Calculus I and II. I find the experience of seeing students improve over time to be very rewarding, and it's the main reason why I tutor on top of a busy schedule.

For each lesson, I create a custom lesson plan based on each student's request. Many of my students are returning students whose grades have improved over time and are happy with their results.
