My French journey began with immersive, full-time study abroad in France during my freshman year of high school, where I developed genuine fluency across speaking, writing, and listening in a real-world environment. Upon returning, I moved directly into AP French, completed the course successfully across both semesters, and scored a 5 on the AP exam. I have continued to actively maintain and deepen my French ever since and have also earned the Global Seal of Biliteracy with working fluency in French and English. I have had teaching experience of elementary to high school aged students for over six years. My background combines lived cultural experience, academic rigor and teaching experience, giving me a well-rounded foundation to guide students at any level with care, patience, and real expertise.

I have deep experience in several types of debate including policy, public forum, and more. I won 4 - 0 at the SVUDL Ryan Mills Invitational Debate Competition and have competed in dozens of tournaments throughout middle school and high school. During my last two years of high school, I became an officer of my debate team and taught a group of 25 new members the fundamentals of debate.

Over six years, I have taught students spanning early childhood through the teenage years, refining my ability to read each learner's pace and adjust accordingly. I was the leader of the Orion Abacus Youth Organization and I was the key speaker at 5+ events and was interviewed by the SF Epoque Times over 4 times. I have also competed in policy debate for over four years, won the Silicon Valley Debate League Championship, competed in dozens of tournaments, and served as both a pre-trial attorney and expert witness in Mock Trial. Through this, I have spent years in high-stakes competitive environments and have also coached others through them, so I know exactly what it takes to perform under pressure.

I took AP Statistics and passed the AP Exam, and coursework in calculus and economics since then has only deepened that foundation, since both lean on the same statistical reasoning. I enjoy teaching this subject because it rewards clear thinking, and I ultimately build students to that point rather than just past the next quiz. That patient, methodical approach, paired with years of coaching experience, is what I bring to every session.
