Hi! I’m a UC Berkeley Class of 2025 graduate with a 3.9 GPA (3.95 pre-med). I studied Computer Science while completing all pre-med requirements, which gave me a strong foundation across both STEM and humanities subjects. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience teaching and tutoring students of all ages. As Lead Director of Computer Science Kickstart, I mentored over 100 women entering CS, designed curriculum, and led workshops to help students feel confident in their abilities. I also partnered with the Oakland Education Fund, where I tutored elementary school students in spelling and writing, and I created and ran a free virtual tutoring program for two years, supporting K–12 students during the pandemic in math, science, and language arts.

My tutoring approach is supportive, patient, and tailored to each student’s unique needs. I believe learning is about more than just memorizing content—it’s about building confidence and discovering strategies that make challenging material approachable. With strong skills in computer science, biology, chemistry, math, writing, and even a background in competitive spelling bees, I enjoy helping students connect with subjects that may have once felt out of reach. Whether you need help mastering a tough STEM concept, preparing for an exam, or sharpening your writing, I aim to make learning clear, empowering, and even enjoyable.

Approved Subjects

Biology

Biology

I am a UC Berkeley graduate with a strong academic background in biology, including courses in genetics, biochemistry, and related fields, where I earned A and A– grades. I have experience tutoring students at various levels and enjoy breaking down complex biological concepts into clear, approachable explanations. My goal is to help students build both mastery and confidence in biology, whether they are preparing for exams or strengthening their foundation in the subject.
Computer Science

Computer Science

I’m a computer science student with strong coursework in algorithms, data structures, discrete math, probability, machine learning, computer architecture, and computer security. I’ve also completed various coding projects and internships that gave me hands-on experience applying these concepts. I enjoy breaking down tough topics into clear explanations and helping students strengthen both their problem-solving and coding skills.
Data Science

Data Science

I’m a data science tutor with strong coursework in algorithms, data structures, probability, machine learning, and discrete math. I’ve worked on many data science projects, including building predictive algorithms and working extensively with SQL and PostgreSQL. With both academic and hands-on experience, I focus on making complex concepts approachable while helping students build practical skills for projects and exams.
Elementary (K-6th)

Elementary (K-6th)

I am a UC Berkeley Class of 2025 graduate with a 3.9 GPA, experienced in tutoring K–6 students in math, computer science, spelling, and writing. I previously worked with the Oakland Ed Fund to support elementary students in literacy and writing. I also ran free virtual tutoring sessions, teaching math and computer science to K–6 students. With my background in both STEM and writing, I help young learners build skills and confidence in a supportive environment.
Genetics

Genetics

I have a strong academic background in genetics, having completed college-level Genetics and Genomics at UC Berkeley with an A grade. My studies covered key areas such as Mendelian and molecular genetics, gene expression, regulation, population genetics, and modern genomic technologies. I bring both a solid theoretical foundation and practical problem-solving skills, which allow me to clearly explain complex genetic concepts. This experience makes me well-prepared to support students in mastering genetics coursework and related subjects.
MCAT

MCAT

I have a strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, and physiology. I specialize in breaking down complex scientific concepts—such as enzyme kinetics, metabolism, and genetic regulation—into clear, test-focused strategies that help students master the CARS, Chem/Phys, Bio/Biochem, and Psych/Soc sections. My approach emphasizes active learning, critical reasoning, and efficient problem-solving techniques tailored to each student’s strengths and weaknesses. With a deep understanding of both the exam content and test-taking strategies, I help students build confidence and significantly improve their MCAT scores.
SAS

SAS

I am a Computer Science graduate from UC Berkeley with practical experience applying SAS in research settings. At Stanford, I completed a project where I used SAS to clean and manage large datasets, perform advanced statistical analyses, and create clear reports to support research findings. This work gave me strong skills in SAS procedures, macros, and data step programming. With both a solid computer science foundation and hands-on SAS experience, I can help students learn SAS effectively and apply it to real-world problems.
Thermodynamics

Thermodynamics

I completed rigorous pre-med coursework at UC Berkeley, where I excelled in physics and chemistry courses with a focus on thermodynamics. My studies covered the fundamental laws of energy, entropy, and equilibrium, as well as their applications in both physical and biological systems. I have experience breaking down complex concepts into step-by-step explanations to help students build confidence and mastery. My goal is to make thermodynamics approachable by connecting theory with clear, real-world examples.
