I’m a former classroom teacher and academic coordinator with a strong academic background and a practical, student-friendly approach. I earned my B.A. in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard College and later completed a master’s degree in finance at Harvard University (Extension School), which included quantitative coursework such as statistics and data science.
I’ve taught and mentored students in structured settings (including teaching English to elementary students in Seoul, where I created lesson plans, built curriculum materials, and worked closely with parents). That experience shaped the way I tutor today: clear explanations, step-by-step practice, and steady confidence-building.
Right now, I specialize in Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1. My sessions focus on (1) diagnosing exactly where things are breaking down, (2) rebuilding the missing fundamentals, and (3) training accuracy and strong quiz/test habits so grades improve consistently. Students leave with a plan, not just “more problems.”
If you’re looking for a patient, organized tutor who takes both learning and motivation seriously, I’d love to help.
