I was selected for the highly competitive Iowa Young Writers’ Studio, a nationally recognized summer program hosted by the University of Iowa’s top-ranked creative writing department. I’ve also served as a Senior Editor at Polyphony Lit, led my high school’s literary magazine as Editor-in-Chief, and worked as a teaching assistant for English and AP Language classes. In addition, I’ve taught creative writing to students ages 5 to 17 and have received multiple Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for poetry and personal essays.
