Hi! My name is Logan, and I’m a medical doctor living in Southern California with a passion for helping students unlock their academic potential. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in Biology from Texas Tech University, and went on to earn my MD from UT Health San Antonio. Along the way, I developed a deep love for both the sciences and for teaching others. I’ve taught Biology I and II at Texas Tech and have several years of tutoring experience helping students master complex topics in chemistry, biology, physics, and test preparation. My academic achievements include a 524 on the MCAT (100th percentile) and a 266 on the USMLE Step 2 (91st percentile), which reflect not just content mastery, but effective study strategies I love to share with my students.

My approach to tutoring is centered on clarity, confidence, and efficiency. I believe every student can perform at a high level once they understand how to think through problems rather than just memorizing facts. In our sessions, I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into understandable parts, teaching active recall and test-taking techniques, and creating personalized study plans that fit each student’s strengths and schedule. Whether you’re preparing for the MCAT, USMLE, SAT/ACT, or trying to strengthen your foundation in STEM courses, I’ll meet you where you are and help you build the skills and mindset to reach your goals. I look forward to helping you succeed!

Anatomy

Anatomy

I am an anesthesiology resident physician at UT Southwestern Medical Center with extensive training in human anatomy through medical school and daily clinical practice. My work requires a detailed understanding of anatomy, particularly the airway, cardiovascular system, nervous system, and musculoskeletal structures. I enjoy helping students move beyond memorization by explaining how anatomical structures relate to one another and why they are clinically important. Whether you're preparing for a high school, college, nursing, or medical school anatomy course, I tailor lessons to build lasting understanding and confidence.
Chemistry

Chemistry

I am an anesthesiology resident physician at UT Southwestern Medical Center with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, which I completed with a 4.0 GPA. Chemistry has been a cornerstone of my education, from undergraduate coursework through medical school and earning a 524 on the MCAT (100th percentile). I enjoy helping students understand the underlying concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas, making challenging topics more intuitive and easier to apply. Whether you're taking high school, AP, or introductory college chemistry, I tailor each lesson to your individual goals, learning style, and academic objectives.

I help students build the core math, reading, and test-taking strategies needed to excel on the PSAT and prepare for success on the SAT. My approach focuses on improving confidence, accuracy, and efficiency so students can maximize their scores and reach their academic goals.
